Hi. I thought the case was okay; although the back end isn't covered in the
case of a space for the serial port and power adaptor. I guess if you had
it out in the rain, you'd want to put it into a backpack or something. I
also didn't like the shoulder straps because I wouldn't carry it on my
shoulder. I'd like to see a smaller strap made available that one could
clip on so the unit would just have a carrying handle.
When closed, the display and keyboard are covered adequately, I think.

I have at least three different cases which PDI has put out for the BN and
VN. None of them are completely satisfactory, but I prefer the

There are times I would like to be able to use the BN while standing, but
manhandling it into the case it came in is quite inconvenient and the straps
would cause it to come down passed my waist which would be an inconvenient
position for writing. Also, the flaps keep closing, making it annoying to
use inside the case. The case my old BN came with only has a hook to hold
the BN, and I wouldn't want to put my trust in it.
I don't have a solution for case that would suit everyone's needs, but this
new case, the wrap-around one, is a definite disappointment to me because
it's a bear to use!
