Hi, Don and Robert. I didn't even use my bn yesterday at all. When I was talking with Al in tech support, I turned it on. I went from 71 percent to 65 percent in 24 hours without even using the unit. He also said he could never get the last charge item on the support page to work either. He suggested that for a really good calibration, chargint it up fully then putting on the speech and letting it run itself down then another recharge.
He said this might make the gauge more accurate.
I think that that is why I like the replaceable battery idea more and more.

Paul,

I'd agree with Robert on this. Also, the battery level indicator doesn't appear to be really accurate, but it does give a close approximation. Also, if it were at 72 percent and in just a few minutes it showed 71 percent, it could be that it was really on the borderline. I have no idea when the battery level figure is
rounded up or down.

Hi Paul,

The kind of battery life that you are getting is very typical. It is just
the nature of the BrailleNote. You won't do any better with a new battery
in my experience.
