Well, let's see, what can I tell you about how I use the planner? I do put
appointments in periodically, but I delete them once they're over or
past. If it's a recurring appointment, I reschedule it for the next
time. But I mostly use the planner as a to-do list. I tried using it as a
diary last year, but at one point I think it was last year, for no reason
that I can explain, my planner got corrupted, and I got one of those
"salvage what you can" messages. So I just use it as a to-do list and
appointment calendar, and at the end of the day I either delete what's left
or move it to some future date. When the year is over, I have nothing left
in the planner, so I delete it.
Let's see, what would I like to see? I think I'd like to know what the
alarm worked a little better, so I wouldn't see any posts on the list about
"I set an alarm and I can't cancel it!". Then I might get brave enough to
use it occasionally. Also, I notice that sometimes when routing the cursor
to the bottom of a date, I see the new page marker, but if I'm just reading
through what I have written down for a given date with the thumb keys,
without routing the cursor, I don't see the new page symbol. I'd kind of
like that to show up, so that when I'm reading through with the thumb keys,
I'll know that's all I have entered for that day, rather than having to
keep going until I see the new day information and then stopping. Also, I
know that each planner file is a separate file because it's a different
year, and I've more or less gotten used to that; but it'd be neat if there
was a way to reschedule an appointment from its last occurence in one year
to its first occurence in the new year. I don't know if there's a way to
do this, but it would be nice, even if it involved getting a prompt that
said something like, "This reschedule date is in a different
year. Reschedule in the 2004 planner?", or something like that. I'll keep
brainstorming and will let you know if I think of anything else.

Hi all.
I'm back once again to do more market research so we can make sure that
what we do in the future meets your requirements.
This time I'd be grateful for your thoughts on KeyPlan, our planner
application in KeySoft.
Here are some things on which I'd like to get your feedback.
1. On average, how many appointments would you have in your Planner each
week?
2. When an appointment has past, do you go back and delete it, or do you
retain the appointment as a form of record keeping?
3. Do you keep planners from previous years?
4. Please feel free to add any comments about what you'd like to see in the
Planner in future.
And finally, if you think you have an exceptionally busy planner, and don't
mind sharing it with us in the strictest confidence, please feel free to
forward your planner file to Dean Jackson at [EMAIL PROTECTED] The more
appointments you have, the better. If you have multiple appointments every
day for most days of the year, this is the kind of Planner we'd love to
see.
