lisa, you could cancel the alarm very quickly by hitting c without turning on the bn on the bt model. I don't know what the qt command is. The one thing I don't like about the alarm, well two things, is 1 the alarm really doesn't work when the bn is otherwise occupied, for example, when in book mode. 2 If the bn is turned on when the alarm is activated, there is as far as I know no quick way to stop the sound. You can hit back with enter (bt) and you get the options menu and something about "to continue, turn the power on". If you then switch power off nothing happens, the alarm continues to sound, and it continues to do so when you switch on again. The only way to stop it seems to be to go through the alarm options menu and hit cancel. If anyone knows a way around these issues, please let Lisa and me know.
