The Braille Sense uses CE.net, which is a better operating system than
WindowsCE. I won't say anymore about that device because it would be
off topic.
I will tell you that the Pacmate has difficulty with dealing with large
amounts of mail. I tried once to put a large amount of mail, I think
it was 1,000 messages, on the unit, and the unit locked up on me. I
had backed up the unit on my PC, so I reset the unit and restored the
backup. IT happened again.
We can't compare the way we use our PDAs to the way sighted people use
their's. I don't think any sighted person would download 400 messages
to their PDA, when they have easy access to a PC, which is something we
don't have.
