When this happens to me with the BN, I just re-boot it.

It happens rather frequently actually, but that's usually because I hit the wrong key when I want the BN to start silently. Of course then, it's not only talking, but it's in one-handed mode, which, for some reason, it does not like to leave immediately!

Hi, My Braille-Note PK is stuck in one-handed mode. I've tried resetting it and following the instructions given, which are to press enter immediately after turning the PK on. Neither has worked. Before the PK went into one-handed mode it kept beeping and repeating main menu exit. If I put the BNPK to sleep, which I can't remember the command for, would that work? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, to synchronize the PC with the BNPK, do you need to use MS-WORD? If so, I'll have to purchase a copy because it didn't come with my PC when I bought it in January. Only Pocket Word was provided.
Thanks.
