When this happens to me with the BN, I just re-boot it.
It happens rather frequently actually, but that's usually because I hit the
wrong key when I want the BN to start silently. Of course then, it's not
only talking, but it's in one-handed mode, which, for some reason, it does
not like to leave immediately!
