Hi Tina and Sarah: Tina, thanks for expressing my sentiments exactly. Batteries Plus changed an FS notetaker's battery with no hassles and it is still functional. I remain convinced they'll find the batteries for the BrailleNote as well.
Sarah, believe me, I live on the edge too; $5000 is quite a bit of money to come up with. It will PAY FOR MY CHILDREN'S COLLEGE EDUCATION for two years at today's rate, <smile>!! If you had read my last note closely, I stated that I WOULD SULK and pay $5000 if changing the BN's batteries kills it. That sulking won't end in a day or two ... it will take a while, <smile>!! Seriously though, adaptive equipment developers should consider making their products more mainstream; yes, charge your $5000, but do allow us some flexibilities, especially with respect to changing batteries!!
