You mentioned that you were in Denver or there about. Beyond Sight is in
Colorado somewhere. Do they service the Braille Note?

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] BRAILLENOTE BATTERY LIFE???

Hi Andrew:

Let's see... Pulsedata-Humanware is in Concord, Calif. since I live in the
U.S. California is a thousand miles by air from Denver, two hours flying
time, <'ouch>!! UPS, FEDEX, or whatever after packing: $69 and change...
Cost of purchasing batteries at Pulsedata-Humanware, hmm, may be $95; after
all, they were going to sell me a NEW POWER SUPPLY for $27 plus $5 shipping
back to me. I got the same power supply at Radio Shack for $16.99 plus
sales tax, still much less than I would have paid to Pulsedata-Humanware
which by the way has a LOUSY tech support, <smile>!!

Guess I won't let the batteries run out for another millennium!! I think
the opportunity to change batteries, or have a battery supply company do it
for you locally is a better deal. Batteries Plus changed the Braille Lite
batteries for les than $50. What did they do wrong??

Sincerely,
Olusegun
