In my case, it was PDI directly who told me I could not use the French
with the QT keyboard model.  The office here in Quebec (Canada) made no
error in this regard.  Once I was told by PDI that I could use only the BT
unit with French, I ordered the BT model.  If anyone should bear
the cost, PDI should for making this error.  I thought little of it at the
time, and didn't keep their e-mail sent to me.
