Hi all,

I've always said that none should not be a folder name, that it should
be called root, but that's me.

I always exit to the main menu when dealing with files. I never turn
off the BN when I'm in a file. I've tried it once or twice and I got
an *access denied* message when I tried to save the file. It didn't
seem to hurt the file when I pressed space-e, but it only happenes
when I shut the machine off while in a file. I suspect that although
PDI says you *can* do this, it may not be the best thing for the
machine. So, since my machine complained, I shall try not to give it
reason to do so again.

Also, if you're doing resets two or three times per day, Lisa, this is
not normal, I do one once a week or so, perhaps less frequently. I
find that I have to reset if the BN is on and I switch between the
Word processor and the GPS. I suspect this is a memory issue. The
GPS will start, then someplace in the middle of my walk or trip, it
will freeze and I'll have to reset it. Might I recommend that instead
of resetting, you turn your BN off between tasks? That may serve to
dump the memory and you may have better luck. This is only a
suggestion, and it may not even work. Just some observations on a
Friday morning.
