I feel that USB port transplants should have been undertaken when the new 
motherboard was implanted.  From what I understand, parallel ports are always 
non-existent; serial printers are not being made any more and parallel printers 
are twice as expensive as USB ones.
I even thought of exchanging my USB printer for a Parallel one until I found 
out about the price difference and, in my opinion, it's a step backwards anyway.
