Bob, I don't understand your statements below nor where you get your information to make such statements. If you need to download 300 email per day as I do, then that's what you should do. I didn't know there was a limit on how many messages one could or should be able to download "with all due respect." As to whether downloading large amounts of email will corrupt your email database, I don't know where you get your information. I just downloaded 351 messages as well as downloading sizeable amounts at other times and have never corrupted my database. As to whether the bn will hang up when downloading that many emails, that is more of a programming problem than anything to do with the bn being able to download that many messages. If you have the memory, and the time, you should be able to download 1000 or 2000 messages if you like without any problems. Once these hangs are addressed with 6.1.1, you should be able to download as many messages as you do with your pc.
It's just a question of getting the bn to talk to the pop server properly.

Hi, folks: With all of the talk, both positive and negative, about 6.1, I have read some messages which trouble me greatly. These messages are from folks, who have tried to download hundreds of email messages at one time. One person mentioned 300 messages. With all due respect, that's too many messages to download. I don't care what upgrade you're running; i not download that many messages, there is a chance that you're going to corrupt your database. That's a drag, because, then, you have to delete it and re-create it. Your BNSTVN is always going to hang up, if you try to download that many messages. If you notice that you have that many, you should stop the process after 50 or so. 6.1 has its issues, but that isn't one which not can pin on the upgrade. God bless. Bob and Maxy-wax
