Hi: - Zip files is a way to compress a large amount of data, you will need to unzip the document first before transferring it, similar to if you had downloaded a bookshare.orr book, it to has to be uncompacted first before you can transfer it. If you are using a computer with the Windows XP operating system, it has a built-in utility tool you can use for unzipping documents/files. All the best. - Kim Share your yesterdays, dream of tomorrow, but live for today!!

Hi everybody, I have a confusing situation, and I hope somebody will be able to help me with it. Earlier this afternoon, my college professor, sent me two word documents. When I downloaded the files to the computer, everything appeared to work fine. However, when I tried to copy them to my bn, I got an error message from activesync, saying, that it couldn't read the required file from disk. When I reread her email, I found out, that she had sent me zip files. Could this possibly be why I got that strange message? Just as a test, I typed a fake word document on the computer, and sent that to the bn, and it went through just fine. I'm not familiar with zip files. What are they exactly? It appears, that the files, were typed in microsoft word format, and zip format, at the same time. How is this possible? Well, now that I have these two zip files, could someone pleasetell me what I should do, so that I can copy them to my bn? Thanks in advance.
