Rehab sometimes buys stand-alone Braille displays because the client needs more cells than a notetaker can offer. Also, in many cases if the notetaker is in terminal mode and being used as a display, it can no longer function as a notetaker. See my article in November's AccessWorld, "The Device that Refreshes." You can read it by going to www.afb.org, then technology.

I love the idea that we can do this. I am sure a deaf person feels the same way, to be able to still have the out reach. --Dar --Every Saint has a Past, Every Sinner has a Future ----- Original Message ----- From: "Terri Pannett" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "BrailleNote list" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, April 22, 2005 10:59 AM Subject: [Braillenote] did you know > Dear List, > > I did something which I found to be exciting.
