Hi,
You will need to modify your Jaws and add the BrailleNote as a Braille display.
 I like to silence the screen reader voice by either turning down the volume or
unplugging the speakers or headphones. If this won't work for you, there is a
way to put Jaws to sleep without losing Braille, but someone who knows more
than I do will have to answer that one.

How can I set this up with JAWS 6.0? Also, is there a way to make JAWS not
talk when I have the BrailleNote hooked up as a Braille display?

I did the same thing with Jaws 3 years ago. The BN does, indeed, make an
excellent Braille display, regardless of one's choice in screen readers.

Dear List,

I did something which I found to be exciting. I use my BN as a braille
display with WindowEyes. I wanted to scroll up and down a document by
paragraph using the thumb keys. I looked at the braille hot keys and I
decided to change two of them. I changed thumb 2 and 3 to control down
arrow and thumb 1 and 4 to control up arrow. The new hot keys work
beautifully! Now, I can scroll through a document paragraph by paragraph
using the thumb keys!

The BN and WE make a great combination!
