Keith, I haven't tested this yet and don't have my unit at hand at
present, but wouldn't it work to number your allday appointments and
enter them in separate paragraphs, then when you want to delete one, in
stead of using the delete line command, use the delete paragraph
command?  Alternatively, mark the particular section you wish to delete
from within the block commands and then delete the block.

Until KeySoft 5.1, I would make a to-do list in the planner by simply
spacing between each sentence on a given day.  This made it easy to use
the "delete current sentence" command to delete each item as it was
completed.
 
I am finding that, in version 5.1, since all items are listed as an
all-day appointment, using the backspace with dots 1-4 command results
in canceling the entire day.
 
Does anyone know how the planner can be used as a to-do list
effectively?
 
By the way, even though this seems difficult, I still like the planner
changes in 5.1.
