Hi,
A micro drive is a mechanical drive.  This makes it susepible to the same 
issues as a standard hard drive.  A coupele examples are shock, and larger 
power consumption.  I heard the other day that they now have an 8 gb cf memory 
card out.  That is if you can afford one.
