Marie; Are you using a BT? It is hard to remember who is using a BT and who is using a QT. Some times I can tell by the command but not always. This would be a good one to know. Terry Powers

About your last problem, when wishing to create a document of a different file type than the default, you hit BACKSPACE with X and not SPACE with X at the "Document to open/create?" prompt. The SPACE with X command simply toggles file views (list of all documents/all files/text documents/keylist documents/Computer Braille tables, etc.), while BACKSPACE with X toggles different document types you can create. I did try to hit the reset button a few time, but it wouldn't do anything. Can someone please give me some other suggestions, besides hitting the reset key, so I can restore my files and folders? >the second problem that I'm having is with the thumb key. For some reason, I can't use them anymore. I've gone in to the obtions menue, and made sure that the key obtion is on, but still, no luck! >Last but not least, when I tried to type the words in the document I've created, it would turn out to be like garbage stuff, so I couldn't even read what I've written. >And the last problem I am having difficulty with is try to create a regular braille document instead of a text document. I've read the manual on how to do this. I did try hitting the letter x with the space bar to go through the list of different file types. I did choose the braille file obtion, but it still turned out to be a text document, whitch is not what I want to have. >I did contact Pulsedata technical support couple days ago, but I haven't heard from anybody. Can someone out there please, please help??? My classes for the Spring Semester will start next week, and I don't want to be stuck with these problems forever! >Thanks in advance! >Vy Pham ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
