Jane, when this happened to me, it ended up being something that PDI had to fix. Your flash disk has crashed, more than likely. Call tech support. Sorry.

As it is, I am somehow running the machine from keysoft system disk. still able to use my flash cards, still able to do my math and look at other important stuff. Can even check the time--but I can't access my address list or planner. I have the feeling that running this from the keysoft system disk isn't good, either But I don't know what else to do! I know when this is sent in I'm going to tell them to replace or repair the disk in addition to cleaning my Braille display, giving me another battery ... sheesh! Will this ever work properly so I don't have to send it in twice a year!? That's how it appears to me. OK maybe I haven't had to send it in that often but it sure feels like it. Does anyone anywhere have any ideas on what to do about my flash disk? How do I get it back How do I wipe it and start over? Do I do anything at all? Do I keep doing this ad-hoc thing of running it from the keysoft system disk and hope to pull through until I can send it in? Even if I manage to get the flash disk back by some miracle, how do I keep it from happening again?? Jane PS it's now 10:54 according to my laptop's clock. Now, of course that I've written this email, I did a reset on a whim and it fixed it. I think. tempporarily anyhow. It's back to keysoft version 5.1 build 22. But my above questions still stand.
