I hate Earth Link, when we tried it, we couldn't get it to work. Now my grandfather has it and his inbox always bounces messages cause it says the inbox is full, but there is nothing in it. I still use mail.earthlink.net for both POP and SMTP, but this is when I use dialup for my cell phone. This is only regarding my Earthlink connection on my BrailleNote. I haven't been required to enable authentication on my BrailleNote, so I haven't done it. I don't know if any of this will help, since I don't have Earthlink DSL, but i hope it does.
