Hi rhonda;
You mean my 5.1 will be deleted off my machine when 6.11 is put on. If
something goes wrong the machine can not back up to 5.1 like 5.1 can back up
to 5.0. What do we do, keep it on disk in case something goes wrong?
Terry

Brenda, it won't help to store the old upgrade if you install the new one.
Once installed, you can't go back, unless I'm not understanding your
meaning.

> Well,Bob, I haven't been too eagger to upgrade. I think a company comes
up with one good program, and then when it starts to compete, it just adds
bells and whistles. Now didn't this company merge? Either that entity will
come up with a good product, or I'm gone.
> This stuff about email problems and disk denied problems shouldn't have
happened. Now in all fairness, maybe some users created the problem by
leaving cards and such in the system, something I don't do. Still I'm
suspicious of the upgrades. I'm not paying $300 for a batch of errers.
Besides, the new program with instructions should come on a Compact flash
card or a disk
> You shouldn't need a PC to add a new program. Since I'm airing what I
think, I'll tell you something else. Whoever would send a disk drive
without a way to format those disks? I shouldn't have to do it on another
piece of equipment. I should be able to do it with my Voice Note. That
oversight is just stupid in my oppinion. Fix it. I brought this up before
with no response. In addition, I called the company with a problem I had
some two weeks ago. I sat on hold for about 45 minutes, left a message, and
got no response. I finally found a solution, but is this what PDI calls
service? Yes, I enjoy my system as it is, but I'm scared to send it back.
They might ruin it.

case the newer version doesn't work. Loosing emails and abilities to use
flash cards etc. is inexcusable, especially for the prices PDI charges.
That's my view.

Trust your instincts, as I will, about this product. In general, the BN has
been a great product. I intend, for the time being, to stick with 5.1.
That's me. I'm sure that, eventually, these problems will be resolved. As
Rhonda said, if you're not sure, don't install. Have a great day. God
bless. Bob and Maxy-wax
