Joy,

You said in your last message, "You have one more disability, that's all."

Deafblindness can be a *very* frustrating disability to deal with. Not only
does one need to work around a severe visual impairment or blindness, they
also have to make considerations for a severe hearing loss or deafness.

Unfortunately, many adaptive products aren't designed so that they can be
used independently by a deafblind person. To make matters worse, deafblind
people make up such a tiny minority of the entire disability population that
almost no one listens to or understands our concerns. So please...don't
minimize deafblindness by saying it's only a matter of having one more
disability. Believe me, I can tell you from personal experience (being
deafblind myself) that it's *so* much more than that.

Lisa

Well, I'm allowed to post here and even help out people when I know the
commands. Just because I'm using voice only is no reason for me not to
post. Some of you have even helped me with my command system, before I
didn't know the difference between Braille Note, and Voice, Note. I'm not
worried about asking questions here. The command systems are similar. I'm
even writing in Braille. I think even Braille Note has voice, and people
use it at times. Point made. I won't bother to argue with the guy. I'm
too busy to worry about it. Have a good evening.
