Actually, I thought the whole thing was funny. Hard candy for a bribe? I
used to have a yopung friend who would do anything you wanted him to do if
you fed him ice cream. My weak spot is hard candy.

Calm down. PDI has also offered free cell cleaning and minor repairs at
shows. Anyway, Optelec can clean a Braillenote for free, just as any third
party could offer to clean your watch or your tape deck for free.
IF you are in the area, go and get a cleaned up unit. Oh yes, you will
probably get a sales pitch from Optalec. And maybe a hand full of free hard
candy.
