Dick, actually at many of these conferences, HumanWare has offered a
thorough KeyShop service, staffed by personnel qualified and authorised to
service BrailleNotes, since we launched the first BrailleNote. CSUN 2005
is no exception. Maurice Sloane will be there to run KeyShop, and as
anyone who has attended these conferences knows, he offers a great
service.

Hello, Richard,
Yes, I agree. There must be a catch there somehow. And, Humanware might
also be losing a lot of money if Optelec is actually offering those very
pricey services for free. If that is true and I were a Humanware
employee,
I would shut Optelec down, then demand enough money to cover my lost
profit
on all the BNs they had cleaned and serviced. If Optelec is offering
services for free that Humanware charges for, they need to be punished,
and
severely for attempting to upset the economic balance of the whole system.

Just think of how many executives who will not be able to make timely
payments on their new cars because of this. Think of the number of
employees who will not receive bonuses because of the lost profit. I say
we
should not wait! Cordon off and boycott them immediately!!

Taking affirmative action affirmatively and with righteousness.

Isaac:
If in fact Optelec is offering such a service for products they do not
manufacture, I can't imagine that Humanware would appreciate this.
I know that if I were working for Humanware, I'd definitely look into
this one.
