The BN will automatically save documents if they are KeyWord text or Keyword
braille. But if you have the BN set up to use Word or if you open a Word
document and start to edit it, then you will be given three options when you
exit the document: (1) save as a KeyWord document (2) save the document in
its original format and (3) loose changes and abandon KeyWord.

To save the document as a KeyWord file, you would type y; to save it in its
original format, you would press n; to abandon KeyWord and lose changes,
you would pres escape or space with e.

Many word processors have a timed backup feature and it would be a good idea
if this feature was available in the BN.

: Lisa, more out of precaution, it is a good idea to save your work and then
: you will have it.
: If you have a bn which is eratic, then save onto flash card computer or
: floppy disk whatever median you happen to have. Yes, it sounds like extra
: work but you should savereguarly while writing the document, just like in
a
: normal computer.
: You have to realize none of these machines including the old fashioned dos
: note takers is fullproof.
: Hope this answered your question.

paragraphs
: were still there. Thinking everything was okay I continued writing
creating

I
: guess I have to save after every word I write or something? I swear the BN
: has never done this before or if it has I have not noticed it. I am
really
: wondering if this so something new that was implemented into Keysoft 5.0.
I
: am thinking I am going to have to write the paper and not leave the file
for
: anything or save his information every time I leave the document but why
: should I have to do this? Why can't the BN save the work automatically?
It

: getting Keysoft 5.0 was a mistake? I'm willing to save my document every
: time I leave keyword but I don't understand why the BN is experiencing
this
: problem now and why it is happening in the first place.
