Yes, I suspect that the files have not been duly converted to a Win32
application and possibly that could be the reason why the updated manual
could not be downloaded to the PK.

Hi Dean,
I am getting exactly the same results as Paul. When following either
Maria's instructions or the instructions on the web site, the pk cannot
find the index or table of contents. Could the wrong files have been
placed on the site?
The files do not run when using the run application from the utilities
menu. I get a not a valid win32 application error.
Thanks,
Robert Carter

Thanks Maria, this is correct!
I'm just confirming that this is the case for you Paul!

I don't have a PK, but judging by the file names in your post below, it
should work the same way. Yes, unzip both the BNB and UK variation
files, and copy the two .exe files you just unzipped to the Manual folder
of the Flash Disk, and then perform the C3-C4 Reset. The Reset I just
stated is the one listed on the PDI web site.
If that still doesn't work, try running the two .exe files through the
Utilities Menu>Application Program option; first, run the BNB.exe file,
and after you have run that one, run the UK_BNB.exe file. In both cases,
leave the "Command Line?" field blank. I'm assuming that the
installation prompts will instruct you as to the types of resets you
would need to perform during the installation; I would guess that it
would be the C3-C4 Reset because that is the one referred to in the
manual as a "Standard Reset", and this is the Reset I perform on the BN
during installation of programs or when placing new User Guide files in
the Manual folder of the Flash Disk.
HTH,
Maria

Maurice or anyone else who can come to the rescue please!
Tried to update the onboard manual of my PK and now get messages like
"cannot find table of contents" and ditto for the index. Dense I might
be,
but the instructions aren't clear on the site I'm afraid! There are two
zip
files, bnb.zip and ukbnb.zip, each of which contains an application
bnb.exe
and ukbnb.exe. I presume if I want to have the UK variation, do I have
to
unzip both of these and copy the executables into the created Manual
folder
on Flashdisk? How can I get back to a working user guide from here
please?
Thanks.
Paul.
