You know, I think we had that internetoption in the 4.02 because they were working on the browser and Motherboard and I am vaguely recalling that the internet thing was on mine too but I didn't connect except once to the e-mail just to see if it was working.

Yes, that's correct then--the old motherboard will not connect to the internet, even though it shows up as an option. Too bad!

Rhonda,
I've not tried the dialup, but I've been told it's setup for that. One of
the PDI boys walked me through the process of setting it up but I never
tried it yet. I did see an option on the menu for internet and when I
pressed it it simply said you're not connected to the internet.

I hope you're telling me I am incorrect. There is an option on my 4.02 for the internet, but it says I am not authorized to use it. Do you use yours with the dialup connection?

Hi, Isaac: The old mother board cannot utilize the internet. The new one can, even if it's a 4.02, but not if it's the old mother board.

So version 402 doesn't have a browser? Meaning no internet access?
thanks

Yes Keysoft version 4.02 does e-mail and if you have the new Motherboard will do the browser quite nicely. I didn't even put keysoft 5 in until I got the gps version 2 last December. So the Bn actually didall of my e-mail during the summer of 2003 very nicely. Actually, I kind of think it had done the
e-mail a little better than keysoft 5.01. build 22.
I tell you that one played rare havock with the whole machine so itsgetting
fixed now.
But I still can't thank pdi enough for that Braille Note I'd still be reading
message from 2003 had I not had that little machine.
