Terry, you got a disk with the card reader because all card readers come
with a software disk; that software is for use with windows 98 and
shouldn't need to be installed for your system.
We did install software for the reader that ultimately failed, but then
found that that installation had not been necessary, so ignored it.
The card reader should work just by plugging it into the usb port on
your computer, and then inserting the card; you can remove the card
anytime for use in your braillenote.
As I recall, your card reader is the F drive on your computer.
It should work just like any drive.

furthermore, I didn't add software when I created a partnership for the
PK. It works fine as well.

the books and saving them where I want them? I think I got three
volumes
downloaded, but I noticed it said they were html files and wouldn't
let me
change them or save them as anything else, such as brf files. If
there's
anything about web braille in the manual, I have not been able to
find.
