Dear "Sloop",  

I am not  certain what you meant by better steam power ... more volume or more 
pressure.  I think your local supplier might have meant "adjust the steam 
boiler's water temperature level" which you can do within a small range without 
messing up the performance of the machine (see the manual).  If you recall your 
high school physics classes, you may remember that as the temperature of a gas 
is raised in a confined space, the pressure increases.  If your Brewtus steam 
pressure gauge dial usually shows a pressure below 1.3, you might want to push 
it up closer to, but below, 1.5 and see if that solves the problem.  Step two 
is to start to play with steam tips.  But as someone else posted, the basic set 
up that you get with the recent machines is capable of producing excellent 
foam.  May you have clear sailing and lay off the rum,  KittJ
