Hey John,

The only way to do that would be to replace the water sensor.  The current
sensor is near the top of the heating element - so obviously, if you go
lower it would be exposed to air and destroy itself.  If you shortened the
sensor you would have less room for steam. 

Advise - leave the sensor as is.

Has anyone tried adjusting their steam boiler's water level? Our local
supplier said that I may be able to get better steam power by raising
it, makes sense so was just wondering if anyone has done it.
