Josh, the key thing is avoid metal to metal contact ... which produces scratches that trap milk residue. The tip normally comes off of my units with my bare fingers ... but taping a couple of pads to a pair of pliers ought to work. You are turning it in correct direction, right?
The B-1 has a tip that divides in the center so that only the lower half of the tip comes off. The B-II has a bulbous tip that comes off as a single unit. When you put it back, be sure to tighten it only finger tight, OK? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Josh Heisler" <[email protected]> To: "Brewtus" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, March 02, 2009 10:59 AM Subject: right tool to get the steam tip off? > > What tool do people recommend to get the steam tip off?
