Hi guys, I rarely post, but I've had my B II for almost 3 yrs now. I have the one with the plastic resevoir. I know many of you have yours plumbed in and this doesn't apply, but I'm kind of concerned about the chemical in plastics bisphenol A (BPA) that is getting a lot of press about causing health problems that leaches into water containers, especially when exposed to hot conditions.
Does anyone know anything about the plastic container in the BII, as far as being made of the right kind of plastic? Supposedly, the "wrong" kind of plastic is opaque and the right kind is hard and clear. (if there IS any "right" kind). I had a glass container made, but it's so heavy that it defeats the switch to turn off the boiler if it's empty. Looking for ideas and input. I'm not really keen on sending my machine back to WLL to get switched over to a plumb-in and not seeing it for 6 weeks or more... (WLL - feel free to jump in here also) Thanks!
