Hi Todd!

I didn't look at the pressure gauge at the time it started backfiring.
I simply turned the machine off because it was LOUD and it freaked me
out. I will be sure to read the gauge the next time this happens
tomorrow. I will try another quarter turn of the valve tomorrow after
I read the gauge. Do I attempt the adjustment while the machine is
still on or should I wait until it's cooled down and I unplug it?
(When I tried the adjustment earlier today, I let the machine cool
down and unplugged it before removing the metal surround so I could
get to the pressure valve. It still started backfiring about six hours
later so I guess I need to try another quarter turn?)

Thank you so much for your help, Todd. I will forward my phone number
to you at Wholelattelove.com.

It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that zing!
