Hello,
The display shows E1 when the boiler overheats.
It is usually a sensor or digital control failure. But if you leave the lever
in the middle position and water leaks out of the brew group you will lower
the water level in the brew boiler and this could also cause the problem.
Please turn off the machine and let it cool down. Then turn it on and raise the
brew lever and run 6 ounces of water through the brew group. Then let it heat
up and if it works great. If not let me know.
Thanks

I have a B II that about 3.5 years old. After pulling a normal shot,
looked at the LED display and noticed it was Displaying E 1. Any
ideas what this code is indicating? Temp probe failure, module
failure?

Thx

Rob
