Ira & Barry:

One side of the brew boiler is fed from the on/off switch (blue
wire).  The other side (red) runs to the thermal switch on top (reset
button) of the boiler and then to the LED controller. Barry, thanks
for reminding me to reset the thermal switch, that fixed it.  I just
need to keep the bare temp probe wires from touching the boiler
housing. Not sure if insulator failure is due to heat or vibration,
the brittle nature indicates heat.   So it appears that all I need is
a temp sensor and the teflon mixing tube.  I can deal with this until
the parts arrive.
