Hi all,
I'm helping a friend locally dial in his Expobar Office. Yesterday I spent
some time cleaning it, and pulled the gasket and shower screen.

The screen is clearly E61, and the gasket is 8.5 thick and the same
dimensions as my replacement E61 gaskets, but a brand I didn't recognize.

The original PF is a very tight fit, i.e. you can get it loaded and maybe
turned 1/2". The bottomless Rancilio PF (with thicker ears) barely goes in,
and turns maybe 1/4".

A couple of other notes. When the coffee is dosed by volume, tamped to the
dosing line, it is in solid contact with the shower screen. It still pulls
a nice shot, but obviously the screen is too low. Actually, the PF basket
sits too high in the PF, by maybe 1-2mm, and that may be the problem.

Also, the gasket/screen assembly is way too tight going in to the machine,
compared to my E61 group on the Brewtus. It really took some work to get
the old assembly out and the new one in. Not very conducive to regular
cleaning.

To my eye, the group on this machine looks like a close copy of the E61, but
not a genuine E61, but not sure if there are a couple of variations on the
group, i.e. with no lever, etc.

Questions, then:
--Does this machine use "true" E61 parts?
--Is there a 7 or 7.5mm gasket available out there?
--Is there a shorter screen assembly, or is the best approach here to just
get the PF basket replaced so it sits lower like it should?

Thanks all, and talk soon.
