Hey Todd!
Thanks for the email. This machine came from you guys originally.

There are two things at work here. First, the gasket is too thick as
already mentioned. Second, the PF basket that came with the machine sits
much too high in the PF handle‹probably 1-2 mm higher than the identical
item on my Brewtus 2. I kind of imagine it¹s a defect, but not sure. If
there¹s any way you could hand pick a replacement that sits as low as
possible in the PF, that will also help. To give you an idea, when I lock
my PF into my machine, it first makes contact at 6 o¹ clock. This one makes
contact at 7 or 8 o¹ clock. Is there such a thing as a 7 mm or 7.5 mm
gasket?

As an aside, the screen and gasket go into the machine really hard/tight.
Much tighter than on my Brewtus. Was this normal for the Office?

If you¹re willing, you can ship the gasket and basket to me at:

Thanks as always Todd!

The 8mm works great. If you give us a call we can ship one right out.
The brew group is not an actual E61, is has the name Crem on it which is
also the company name for Expobar. It is actually a nice group as they
explained to me that it has more space over the shower screen which is good
for pre infusion.

I suspect a 8mm will work quite well that .5mm makes a big difference.

On the bigger question: to the best of my knowledge, no Expobar machine uses
a *genuine* E61 group head (I believe they are actually quite rare outside
of Faema machines). Most of we call E61 groups these days are clones or
variations.

Cheers
