Also - I am happy to report that outside of the mysterious chrome flakes coming out of the hot water wand, everything else is working fine and back to normal.
We are so happy to have our machine back. I still want to figure out what the issue is with the hot water wand. However, we only use that to moisten a towel for steam wand cleaning, rinsing out cups, etc. Thanks everyone for your help. I truly appreciate it.
