Shaun, I used a Sylvia/Rocky combo for six years before upgrading to the Brewtus (skipped the PID). I do not regret it. I was happy with my Milk based drinks from Sylvia but was challenged to make multiple drinks for family and friends. I was unable to pull consistently good espresso with Sylvia. I continued to use the Rocky grinder after purchasing Brewtus for a couple of months with varied results. Switching to the Baratza Vario grinder made a very big improvement. I can now make multiple drinks for family and friends quickly, easily, and with confidence that the results are consistent and delicious. Fresh roasted beans are also a must.
