I just replaced my pump last week after slightly over 4 years.  Should
have done it about 15 months ago when it started acting like the
original poster and stopping mid shot if the machine had been on for
2hrs+.  Had replaced the OPV at that time since my machine came with
the original nylon adjusting screw and WLL recommended the brass screw
version as the fix for the pressure drop.  Never really fixed the
problem and the power-on time to failure kept getting shorter.  Put a
new 52W pump in and BII is pumping out some nice shots again.

Any good solutions for the chrome ball on the hot water wand?  I don't
use it except to heat cups and occasionally drain the boiler but
pulled it off when I was disassembling and could see where the
metallic and green bits in my cups were coming from.  I had always
assumed it was coming from the boiler but don't get anything out of
the steam side.  I did pull the nylon tube out of the steam wand and
thoroughly cleaned it as it looked like there was a film on the
inside.
