After some more experimentation I realized that what I wrote about the
GIcar PID is wrong concerning temperature units and number of digits.
I may have a defective PID.  At first I could not even get the unit to
go into Program mode.  Anyway, I would still like to try and replace
it with the Fuji and do some more experimentation on temperature
control so if anyone can provide additional information I would really
appreciate it.
