Step one is always to check for dried milk blocking the hole(s) of the steam tip. It is a very common "sooner or later" thing if you forget to clean the tip when you finish using the machine.

I find the easiest way to diagnose it is to remove the tip and see if the wand now passes steam. To deal with the blockage, use a paper clip or thin pin to clear the holes. Letting the tip sit in a glass of water for a few hours will soften the material.

If there is no steam from the wand with the tip off, probe the tube for further blockage and let it sit in a glass of water to soften. If still no steam, then you are left with more elaborate checks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Brinkman" <[email protected]>
