i have not viewed the links for the parts, however the bottom drain plug
(existing) can be hard to break loose and unscrew out. i reccomend a large
channelok pliers to hold the boiler so the attached pipes don't get bent.

i had no idea expobar sold part that will work for this application. i for
one, am interested in this option. the brew boiler is painstakeingly hard
to fully flush during descaleing. when the steam boiler is drained it
retains a fair amount of water which gets concentrated with water
impurities. with the double boiler design, the drain valves should be
included as stock part, in my opinion.

not sure, but our US distributor could possibly order parts. - Dennis

Subject: Re: Add brew boiler drain valve - Brewtus IV (new model)

Thank you!
I didn't removed the drain plug yet but I have some information more.

The drain plug can be removed via a 17mm metric wrench, there is enough
space below the brew boiler to fit a microball drain valve, probably it
would be good to screw in the valve a 90º pipe to which connect a nut and
the drain valve.
Apparently the drain plug is 1/4", in the spare part list (published at
http://www.crem.es/recambios/home.php?lengua=en) there is only a male plug,
part n. 30000300 more info on the part also here
http://www.eunasa.com/en/buscar.php?txtBuscar=30000300.

If so I am wondering if I coud fit the following parts:
30000215 (90º pipe, to screw to the boiler) 30100010 (hexagonal nut 1/4)
15000310 (microball drain valve) and maybe, as additional safety "measure"
against drain valve likage, some 1/4 cap to screw on the drain valve "exit"

I quote expobar part number if you combine expobar and eunasa web sites you
can see photos e schematics.

Now I just have to source the parts.

What is your opinion on my idea? I would really appreciate your and the
other group member opinion. And I am also wondering if it could make sense a
more sofisticate mod for the steam boiler too.
