Thanks Ira--can you be any more specific on where the screw is on the pump?  
I'll have another look.

With a vibe pump, I came to understand the paradigm as using the OPV to set 
brew pressure, i.e. 9 bar.  In the case of the rotary, your post makes it sound 
like I use the screw on the pump to adjust brew pressure, and the opv as a 
backup?  Correct?

I'll have a look in the meantime.
