Yep, I modified my B II to rotary last year. The brew gauge
regularly moves up and down as the heater goes on and off, especially
with the AKO controller. Its normal and not problem. I have a
pressure regulator that limits the pressure to 5psi so the my gauge
varies from between 5 to 11 bar. Once I lift the brew handle, the
brew pressure snaps directly to 9 bar. The pulls are typically dark
chestnut with flecks and beautiful, creama is thick and flavorful.

If you carefully watch the WWL brewtus 4 video on you tube, you will
see the pressure gauge rise to 10 or 11 bar ( I think Todd states
about 9) and water dripping out of the over pressure port below the
discharge. Its a little bothersome at first, but after a while you
won't even notice.

Enjoy
