It's not very difficult, but the price of those Electra parts will shock you. $180 per valve or something like that.
2) Something to eliminate the rattle-fest of cups due to boiler refill and vibe pump-in-action. I was originally thinking astroturf or a blond wig but that might be a little weird and/of flammable and/or meltable. On second thought, how about a nice thin sheet of non-porous food safe rubber? sources for such a thing? what have the rest of you done about rattling?
Rotary pump is the best answer. I have a clear patterned thing from Bed Bath and Beyond cut to fit on the top. It's an array of 1/2" circles and I just cut out sections for venting. I also found some much nicer looking stainless drawer handles and replaced the stock ones.
