I changed the element in my steam boiler to a 2000 watt version, from a 1200 watt version (220V). I now run a 5 small-hole steam tip (with adapter) with no problems, steam pressure set at 1.4bar, drops to +-1bar at the fill and then goes up again :-)
Sorted out the only major reason I wanted to upgrade to a GS3 which was the lacklustre steaming performance. Now I just need to figure out what I need to get to change the steam control from a tap to a lever and I will be totally sorted.
