I am in South Africa and know the local agents pretty well, I had a leak
where the element was screwed into the steam boiler and figured while it
was out they may as well replace it with a larger one. I believe that the
one they used was from a Wega machine. I asked them to check the wiring
would handle it and they said it would not be a problem.

Expobar in Australia spec the Brewtus (called the Expobar Minore III there)
with 2000 watt elements as standard so I would guess the electrics can
handle it (my machine does anyway)

Not sure who you could get it from in Europe but would not think that it
would be that difficult to get hold off.
