With my last Brewtus II, I felt like the pressure ramp was a bit slow too. 
Maybe 10-15 seconds sometimes. I believe that doing a full descale and 
cleaning out the OPV helped a little, but the next thing I would have tried 
would be a new pump. But someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse on that 
machine, before I could do more testing. My dad said his Brewtus II pump 
pressure was basically identical.
