Is is very easy now that you can turn the steam boiler off. It just takes about 2 hours, making sure that no descaling solution remains in the boilers. The Alex Duetto descaling procedure fits like a glove: http://coffeetime.wikidot.com/izzo-alex-duetto-deacaling-brew-boiler Just use Spring Water and descale once a year. My 2 cents.
